Quentin is very interested in oral storytelling right now. We told him a story in the car a week or two ago at his demanding and ever since, he almost prefers it to an actual book. The good news is, as long as we can be somewhat creative, we've got something to entertain him all the time, taking up no extra space! The bad news is he'll ask for story after story after story after story...
Quentin also likes to tell stories. He can narrate an interesting version of Goldilocks and the Three bears, as well as a plethora of stories about Thomas, Lightning McQueen, and Bob the Builder that have little or nothing to do with the standard lines of the shows.
He's gotten interested in his Leapfrog videos again, and is starting to consistently read 3 letter words. Quentin also LOVES his classes. He's currently enrolled in gymnastics, piano lessons, a neat preschool science class, and art. He couldn't be happier, except maybe if he were in soccer.
As for Jude, he's crawling like crazy, and playing interactive games with us (peekaboo - coming around corner, URGABURGA, crawling away, then peeking back). I can't believe how fast he's turning into a little person!

I know I've done lots of video posts lately. I promise I'll get something substantial up next week. Until then, enjoy this shameless self-promotion. Share it, digg it, stumble it, ENJOY it. (the audio level is way lower on the first video than the second, FYI)

More politics, I know
Thursday, September 04, 2008
It's sexist to criticize the person who is trying to be 2nd in line to run the country, if said person is a woman.
Looking forward to watching the dynamic duo rip her a new one tonight. She was so bitter and UGH last night. :( THIS is why people hate politics. Unfortunately, too much is at stake to not pay attention.
On Sarah Palin

So John McCain has selected another Beauty Queen to stand by him, this time in the general election. I have much to say about her, not least of which is the insult she is to Hillary Clinton and Hillary's supporters (of which I was not one - would have voted for her in the GE but not the primaries). However, much of my concerns are expressed here, quite succinctly by none other than Karl Rove. Thank you, Karl, I yield the floor to you. (my twitter friends will recognize this video)
